He's already reunited with his former on-screen dad twice on Last Man Standing, but now Home Improvement alum Jonathan Taylor Thomas is stepping behind the camera — and...
Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing's Mike Baxter likes to keep to himself. That apparently includes not getting to know his neighbors.
But he may not have a choice on Friday's episode (8/7c, ABC). When his new African American neighbors' car is egged, Vanessa (Nancy Travis) urges Mike (Tim Allen) to tell them that their car wasn't the only one vandalized. As you can see in the exclusive sneak peek below, Mike isn't exactly for the idea (or exactly politically correct!).

"Vandalism happens to everybody, guys," Mike says. "Why is it if you're black or gay or a midget you think stuff happens to you just because you're black or gay or a midget? Maybe they're just jerks! I dated this black, gay midget in college..."
So what happens when Vanessa goes against Mike's advice? Tune in Friday at 8/7c on ABC to find out. Watch the sneak peek below:
Kaitlyn Dever, Tim Allen
I'm a sucker for tradition, and there are probably worse ideas than ABC reviving the "TGIF" concept of family-friendly sitcoms on Friday night. Depending on your generation, you may find yourself thinking nostalgically of watching The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family with the babysitter, or growing up with the Full House-Family Matters-Boy Meets World-Perfect Strangers brand of ABC comedy. Hold on to those memories, because unfortunately, there are few shows this season worse or more grating than tonight's Malibu Country (8:31/7:31c), where the beachfront corn grows awfully and annoyingly high.
Alexandra Krosney, Tim Allen
Major changes are coming to Last Man Standing. Not only will it be airing on a new night (Fridays), but the Tim Allen comedy is getting a new showrunner and has dropped series regular Alexandra Krosney.
Last Man Standing, Christina Moore and Tim Allen
Last Man Standing's Mike Baxter is about to add another woman to his life: a sister-in-law.
When Vanessa's (Nancy Travis) sweet, but flighty sister April (Christina Moore) comes to visit, Mike...

All Tim Allen wants for the holidays are a few cool outdoor gadgets. But don't expect him to use any of them.
"I love the thought of me out there fishing and hunting and camping," says Allen, on a break from rehearsals for his ABC hit Last Man Standing. "But I don't do it."
Tim Allen, Nancy Travis
Tim Allen's new ABC sitcom Last Man Standing may present the former Home Improvement star as yet another dopey sitcom husband, but Allen's co-star Nancy Travis says that she gets to be dopey too.

"They are unlike a traditional sitcom couple, where he's the buffoon and she's the patient wife," Travis tells TVGuide.com. "We toss that ball back and forth. There are episodes where [I'm] just fumbling around and he comes off as the voice of reason. They're both kind of trying to find their way."

Even TV comfort food has an expiration date. So it is with Tim Allen's comeback vehicle on the network that made him a star.
