My Name Is Earl delivered the goods again this week with a full hour comprised of two all-new episodes The first one featured Earl Jason Lee trying to cross 72 off his list by bringing Joy a hot tub to make up for one he accidentally prevented her from earning years ago I hope everyone already knew that lighters and hairspray dont mix And whats the usual high point of any Joy-centric episode Jaime Pressly of course For the first time ever youve satisfied me in a way Darnell never could Joy utters to Earl after he gives her the hot tub Understandably he leaves out the part about picking up the gift off the side of a road after finding a bum living inside of it Blissfully unaware Joy begins living it up as only she can spending day and night soaking in the questionable spa and indulging in Old British 40s while keeping pickles on her eyes Her life of luxury ends pretty abruptly though when she finds her big toe has become well a bi read more be the first to leave a comment

My Name Is Earl broke ground on Season 4 in style with two back-to-back episodes With last seasons storylines left in the dust getting back to the shows roots was nothing less than a breath of fresh air After an hour filled with some of the funniest new TV moments Ive seen in a while I couldnt ask for more but I wanted to anyway In the first installment Earl Jason Lee recalls having once ruined Buddy Zaks wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation when he was just a boy himself When he sets off to make it up to Buddys mother he finds Buddy still alive and all grown up A film enthusiast Buddy asks Earl to produce his dream movie in exchange for crossing him off of the list However the only available actors are Camden Countys usual cast of clowns It also doesnt help that the film 2 The Max is ridiculous Seth Green brings on the funny in the role of Buddy and looks like hes enjoying every minute of it With all of his recent work in animation Family Guy Ro read more 1 Comment

Well lets not beat around the bush regarding the big news Earl and Billie got married It was great to see Earl in such suave and decisive form in his first post-coma order of business But as with every enjoyable Earl episode the real fun is in the journey not the destination Lets revisit the main stops along the way All of the main characters were out in full force tonight with the Crab Shack serving as the base of operations At the outset we learned that Joy Darnell and the kids have taken up residence at the bar since Earl tipped over their trailer But even though the children are using the pool table as a bunk bed and getting homework tips from local derelicts fixing that problem isnt on Earls radar for the time being Since Randys humorously stream-of-consciousness notes he had kept arent of much use Earl decides to enlist the help of Frank Michael Rapaport to find Billie I really enjoyed seeing Mike OMalleys Stuart character exerting major influe read more be the first to leave a comment
