Singing or screaming? It's your choice on one of the busiest Sundays in a while. While CBS' standards-and-practices watchdogs are apparently keeping a close eye on any potential wardrobe malfunctions, the show goes on at The 55th Annual Grammy Awards (8/7c) from L.A.'s Staples Center, where it's probably easier to name who isn't performing or presenting than listing the full talent roster. The nominations for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards were announced Wednesday. Television held a strong presence among the honorees with two of The Voice coaches, NBC's freshmen hit Smash, Ellen DeGeneres, Rachel Maddow, Kathy Griffin, Jimmy Fallon and American Idol's Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood all scoring nominations.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will host Saturday Night Live when the show returns for its 38th season on Sept. 15, NBC announced on Wednesday.
MacFarlane, who also ecently directed the film Ted, will be joined by musical guest Frank Ocean. This will be the first appearance for both on the sketch show.
