The passenger in Morgan Freeman's car crash last year sued the actor Wednesday for negligence and disputed media portrayals of her as the "other woman" in the breakup of his marriage.

She said the Dark Knight and Driving Miss Daisy star offered to let her stay at his Charleston, Miss., estate because she had to go to work in the morning and it would make her commute more convenient.
