Jeffrey Tambor will reunite with the creator of Arrested Development as a cast member of The Bridget Show, a Mitchell Hurwitz-produced comedy pilot for ABC.
The Bridget Show stars Gilmore gal Lauren Graham as a former talk-show queen attempting a comeback after a disastrous romance. Tambor will play Bridget's business manager.

Fox is brining Arrested Development star Will Arnett back to its network.
Arnett has inked a lucrative development deal, which will give the funnyman and frequent 30 Rock guest star a few extra perks. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the deal, promises Arnett complete creative control over choosing the writers, producers and directors he wants to work with, as well as the content of the show that will be developed for him.

Arrested Development mastermind Mitch Hurwitz will tackle more family dynamics in a new CBS comedy, The Hollywood Reporter reports.The as-yet-untitled sitcom focuses on a family that "loves too much" namely the parents who insist on butting in on their adult children's lives.Jason Biggs is in negotiations to join the project, which has received a pilot commitment and another six-episode order from CBS. Hurwitz will pen the script with Arrested cohort James Vallely. The two, along with Biggs, are executive producing the show with Hurwitz's Tantamount production partners, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum. Based on a live-action Aussie series, Sit Down, Shut Up centers on a staff of high school teachers who place their own needs and agendas ahead of the students'. During a Friday conference call regarding Battlestar Galactica's own fate, David Eick revealed that the pilot he has over at Fox the sci-fi-themed Them lives on, perhaps as a mid-season premiere. "It's still in play and something the network is very actively talking about," he said. "We'll know more in the next weeks and months."Meanwhile, Mitchell Hurwitz's The Thick of It, a BBC comedy adaptation originally eyed (but ultimately passed on) by ABC, is now garnering interest from Showtime, NBC and HBO.
