Uh, oh. Jealousy may be rearing its ugly head in the coming season of The Office. Mindy Kaling, who brilliantly portrays boy-crazed, pop culture obsessed airhead Kelly Kapoor on NBC's The Office, will be traveling to Dunder Mifflin's hometown of Scranton, Penn. to officiate "The Office Games," on July 19. Scranton, besides hosting a day of events inspired by the show including a 2K race, a trivia challenge and beet eating contest, will also be the first city to offer the new The Office DVD Board Game and a separate The Office Trivia Game. (Dear Santa, I know what I want for Christmas!).My inner Office fan saw this news and immediately looked up train fares to Scranton, PA. Hey, all you Office drunks! Did I stutter? I mean, hey all of you drunk on The Office. I am the only drunk in the office. It is like being drunk with laughter, the Office fans say. I have been getting the wildest fan mail lately. I have recently received an artist rendering of a Big Gulp in my honor. I have been sent airplane bottles of liquor. I have gotten flasks in the mail. I have gotten strange photos of me doing the limbo on the "Booze Cruise" episode. (How low can ya go?) This tops all! Some soon-to-be-married fans actually invited Meredith to their wedding in Ohio. (Last year, as I was walking thru the lobby of the Four Seasons in Philadelphia, I was pulled into some wedding photos of the bridal party. I know they didn't plan that.)The next episode is called "Did I Stutter?" Stanley (aka the very dry Leslie...

Episode Recap: Branch Wars (November 1, 2007)Jim has spent the past few weeks punch drunk happy over finally getting together with Pam. So it figures that karma is ready to pay him back by putting him through hell tonight. First he gets manipulated into taking the worst car ride Ive ever seen on The Office (and considering how many times Michael Scott has gone on a long journey while annoying the bejeezus out of his passengers, thats really saying something). And by the end of the half-hour hes face to face with his ex-girlfriend and you can almost hear him praying that he could just disappear. The last time Joss Whedon directed an episode of The Office it was, ironically, the one where Dwight fought a vampire bat. (Whedon swore that was just a coincidence and that the episode was written before he came in to direct). But in some ways this episode (written by Mindy Kaling, who also plays Kelly) is an even better fit for Whedons talents: hes a master at t...
