Hayden Panettiere and Jack Coleman, Heroes
If Heroes' previous season finales have taught viewers anything, it's that they can expect to see most of the superpowered good guys come together to bring down the villain.
Heroes: Will Lydia's death spell disaster for Samuel?
Robert Knepper, who plays this season's power-hungry, carnival-leading baddie, Samuel, promises more of the same in Monday's Season 4 send-off. But for Samuel, it's no more Mr. Nice Guy.
"Samuel never went up to Hiro [Masi Oka] and Peter [Milo Ventimiglia] and said, 'You're going to work for me.' He made them realize something about themselves that they needed to realize and hopefully they would thank Samuel," Knepper tells TVGuide.com. "There was this manipulative approach that didn't work out how he wanted it to work out. In the end, he's going to say ' ... I'm going to get you back. I'm going to show you my true colors — you're now working for me.' And if they don't, there's going to be a price to pay."
Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere) and her father (Jack Coleman) have already gotten a taste of what Samuel's willing to do ...
Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere
Heroes' stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have broken up, and the jury is out as to whether it was 12-year age difference or the new man in Panettiere's life — Jesse McCartney.
The couple called it quits within the last week, according to Usmagazine.com. The magazine said a source close to the couple explained differing lifestyles were at fault for the split: "They were in very different places."
The insider also mentioned that the 19-year-old is young and living the Hollywood lifestyle, which is "not [Milo's] style" now that the 31-year-old is ...

Milo Ventimiglia by John Shearer/ WireImage.com
Perhaps inspired by the huge success of the comic-book aspect of NBC's hit show Heroes, hottie Milo Ventimiglia and his producing partner Russ Cundiff have just signed a deal with Devil's Due Publishing to create a comic-book miniseries titled Rest. The four issues to be published in the fall will center around the dangers of remaining awake as a man is sucked into a conspiracy between an evil pharmaceutical company and the government. The main character will look like Milo and will be written by X-Men editor Mark Powers, based on a story by Mike O'Sullivan. Devil's Due and Ventimiglia will reveal more about the project at Comic-Con in New York this weekend, and TVGuide.com will be there! Stay tuned for our interview with Milo about his new project, which, if successful, would likely be adapted as a TV show or movie. What do you think of Milo's new venture? Do you hope he's drawn shirtless? Kidding, sorta. Erin Fox

Date the cheerleader, answer to the world. That's how Milo Ventimiglia must be feeling ever since rumors surfaced (only to be denied) that he and Heroes "niece" Hayden Panettiere are romantically involved. People has crowned the couple "an item," with a source telling the tab that when the Heroes are together, "They're very affectionate.... He really takes care of her, even down to the little things like giving her a back massage." All my uncle ever gives me is a $15 check at birthday time.Similarly, an "eyewitness" tells the U.K.'s Sun that at a pre-Christmas party at the Water Grill in L.A., "[Milo] called [Hayden] his girlfriend and said that he loved her."Hayden's rep tells People, "We do not respond to inquiries from the media regarding Ms. Panettiere's personal life."
Today at www.ae.com/web/77e/winter-tales/, the Heroes heartthrob is unspooling his new batch of American Eagle-sponsored webisodes holiday-themed clips this time. Mouthing off on his behalf, in stop-motion animation mini-movies, are Kristen Bell, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, rapper Lil' Jon and Friday Night Lights babe Adrianne Palicki. If the venture is succcessful, the frequently topless actor has sworn to use the proceeds to buy a shirt. Ben Katner
Episode Recap: "Powerless"Im trying to figure out what to write, so Im going over my notes and the last thing I wrote was: "the pet. bro. are so cut"
then Nathan gets shot! WTF.I knew it was coming. A political assasination was predictable at 9:59pm.Possible Spoiler: This is what Ive heard of the fallen heroes: dead, uncertain and healed. We know Maya was healed. Im glad she survived. Personally, Id pick Nathan over her, but the best way to fix a character problem is to get rid of the old and bring in the new. Many have complained about Maya, but you have to imagine her characters possibilities. Shes a weapon of mass destruction and pissed. I cant wait to see her in action. She and Sylar will meet again. So, is it Niki or Nathan that is uncertain? Although Peters healing abilities (and those who've already received blood transfusions from Adam and Claire) are still questionable. Nathan looked like a gone...
The Haitian repaid his debt by saving Peter. Jimmy Jean-Louis by Chris Haston/NBC
Episode Recap: "Four Months Ago"Bonsoir mes amis! Leah Friedman (Friday Night Lights, among other blogs) in for Casey tonight, and I figured I'd stick with the Montréal theme. I'm thrilled to be filling in for her for the second in what will hopefully become a series of great Heroes episodes. We all know about the griping (and yes, I've done my own fair share of it this fall) about how the season started out, but between last week and this week, I'm hoping we can all agree that the show is back on track. It was certainly a subtle episode by Heroes standards; more along the lines of last season's "Company Man" than anything else, and as a character study of the Petrellis, Elle and the Sanders family, it worked well most of the time.First off, thank you Tim Kring for finally revealing just how in the hell Peter ended up in Ireland. We already knew that Nathan saved New York from Peter, but in dueling bouts of self-sacrifice, Peter rescued a falling, burning Nathan and deli...
