Shirley MacLaine will receive the 40th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, the American Film Institute announced Sunday.
The 77-year-old actress, who won a Best Actress Oscar for 1983's Terms of Endearment, will be presented the award at a gala tribute in Los Angeles on June 7. TV Land will broadcast the ceremony later that month.
