Most people would be wary to begin a series in its 13th season. Most people would be nervous to join a cast after the exit of a high-profile star. Kelli Giddish is not most people.
"I couldn't feel better about it. ... There's no intimidation," Giddish tells TVGuide.com of jumping onboard Law & Order: SVU. "What attracted me was the prospect of re-invigorating a franchise that's been so well-known and so well-liked, and then to be the shaker and mover."
Giddish is one of two fresh faces in the 16th District's SVU team this season, which also sees the departure of longtime showrunner Neal Baer and the exit of star Christopher Meloni. "They've lost a close family member and that's very, very obvious. The writers are not...

Michael Trevino, Michaela McManus
It's not easy being the new girl in town and Vampire Diaries' mysterious Jules is certainly being made an outsider.
When the CW series broke for winter hiatus, Jules (Michaela McManus) strolled into town claiming she was looking for her friend Mason. It didn't take long for the Salvatores to realize she was a werewolf and was in Mystic Falls not just for a friendly visit, but to take newbie wolf Tyler under her wing.

The Vampire Diaries
Evil is coming to Mystic Falls! Exec producer Julie Plec confirms to TV Guide Magazine that before the end of The Vampire Diaries' second season, viewers will get to meet Klaus — one of the original vampires. "How he gets to town, when he gets to town, what he looks like when he gets to town — that's all part of the mystery."
But Plec isn't just being cagey. She tells us the character of Klaus keeps changing as the audition process progresses...
