When psychology professor Lauren Porter (Linda Hamilton) reveals to her student, Tom Beckwith (James Belushi), her suspicion that a separate personality has caused her to murder someone, she also asks the former cop to follow her and find out whether her hunch is fact or fiction. Tom tails her and witnesses mild-mannered Lauren transform into daring Lena -- but is her alter ego really capable of murder?
