As How I Met Your Mother's season-ending mystery wedding nears, two additional faces will pop up to further complicate the possibilities.
In the April 18 episode, Battlestar Galactica vet Michael Trucco will assume the role of Robin's oft-discussed, but never seen "crush" from years earlier...
Michael Trucco has locked lips with the comely likes of Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff and Castle's Stana Katic. Now the 6-foot-3 40-year-old is playing Sarah Shahi's ex-husband with benefits in USA's new series Fairly Legal...
Fairly Legal creator and executive producer Michael Sardo remembers exactly when he realized he had found his leading lady.
"I had seen 90 women when Sarah Shahi came in. When the casting director pulled out a pretend gun in the audition scene, they all backed up," Sardo tells TVGuide.com. "Sarah's audition started, the casting director pulled out the fake gun, and she leaned in. Right then and there, I knew she was Kate."
Fearlessness was an important prerequisite for the role of mediator Kate Reed, the center of USA's new drama, Fairly Legal. After the sudden death of her father, both her mentor and best friend, Kate agrees to work for her difficult stepmother (Virginia Williams) to help keep her father's law firm afloat. When she's not settling disputes for bitter divorcees and powerful CEOs, Kate is also still dealing with her split from...
Burn Notice and Psych fans won't have to wait quite as many months as usual for their favorite USA shows to return: The network announced Wednesday that the spy series and detective comedy will be back on the air in November.
What will Sarah Shahi be Facing in her new USA series?
Psych, now running the first half of its fifth season, will return...
Could a certain sexy Cylon be heading back to V when the ABC series returns?
Executive producer Scott Rosenbaum says the show isn't done with Michael Trucco's story line yet. "John May...
"Laws were made by people, and people are often wrong."
That's the mantra for Sarah Shahi's titular character in USA's new legal drama, Facing Kate. The show, executive produced by Michael Sardo and Steve Sark, focuses on the world of lawyers who, like Kate, resign from practicing law and simply mediate clients' disagreements...
Michael Trucco knows a thing or two about being "that guy" in a TV love triangle.
Castle's Stana Katic: Beckett's ready to tango with new love interest
Trucco's Samuel Anders came between romantic leads Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (Katee Sackhoff) and Lee "Apollo" Adama (Jamie Bamber) on Battlestar Galactica. Now on Castle, Trucco plays Detective Tom Demming, an increasingly powerful wedge between Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Detective Beckett (Stana Katic).
But Trucco tells TVGuide.com there's more to his role on Castle than creating another obstacle to a Castle-Beckett pairing. "It's an interesting plot device to enter in a third wheel — it always helps raise the stakes for all parties involved. But often, those characters can be one-dimensional," Trucco says. "What I like about Demming is he's actually a good guy. There's some sincerity in this character and I think he's genuine in his feelings for Beckett.
"He checks with Castle first," Trucco continues, recalling one of his character's first scenes...
Castle's Stana Katic likens the romantic tension between her character, Kate Beckett, and Castle (Nathan Fillion) to a dance. And in Monday's episode (10/9c, ABC) Beckett's going to switch dancing partners.
Will Castle's explosive cliff-hanger create sparks for Castle and Beckett?
When Beckett's team catches the case of a murdered thief, they look to robbery division Detective Tom Demming (Battlestar Galactica's Michael Trucco) for help with the case. And he steals Beckett's heart.
"It's really wonderful to have the opportunity to show a more sensual, romantic side to Beckett," Katic tells TVGuide.com. "I think it's great having someone like Tom Demming who is genuinely interested in Kate and is formidable enough to become a bit of a competitor for Castle."
However, Katic says Castle's response is more than petty jealousy...
An FBI agent, a conspiracy theorist, a priest and an alien... no, they are not walking into a bar; they are the leaders of the resistance on ABC's V. Unfortunately, the priest, Father Jack (Joel Gretsch), may do more harm than good now that he's been infected with R6, the Visitors' tracking solution. Gretsch tells TVGuide.com that Jack will have to put his morals aside if humanity is to survive. Plus: Who is going to die?
Nathan Fillion, Castle
Castle (Nathan Fillion) watched an explosion destroy Detective Beckett's apartment in last week's Castle cliff-hanger, but could that disaster further kindle the flames between Castle and his crime-fighting muse?
Castle: Can Beckett survive a serial killer and an FBI nemesis?
That's assuming, creator and executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe coyly tells TVGuide.com, that Beckett (Stana Katic) is still alive. Marlowe hints that the conclusion to the two-part event puts Special Agent Jordan Shaw (guest star Dana Delany) in her own share of trouble.
"Everyone has to redouble their efforts in order to make sure everyone stays alive," Marlowe says. "The case certainly does take a turn, and there are complications. Jordan Shaw is in the thick of it and by virtue of redoubling her effort to go after the serial killer, she becomes a target herself."
As for Beckett...
