Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola and The Fray guitarist Joe King got married in New Orleans over the weekend.
Where exactly are The Vampire Diaries' Bonnie and Damon? Viewers are finally about to get that highly anticipated answer.
"We'll figure it out in the next episode," executive producer Caroline Dries told a small group of reporters following a screening of the Season 6 premiere. "They're discovering it along with the audience. [The final scene was] to tease people [and say], 'Don't worry we haven't forgotten about them.'"
Class is in session on The Vampire Diaries — except this is one awkward lesson.
On the Season 6 premiere, Professor Saltzman (Matt Davis) is at the head of the class, while Elena (Nina Dobrev) hides behind her book and Liv (Penelope Mitchell) obnoxiously laughs at the day's topic: the occult as it pertains to resurrection.

"Is there something funny, Liv?" Alaric asks.
"More like, ironic," she snarks back. (We have to give her that one considering the events of the Season 5 finale.)

Vampire Diaries fans have seen Elena Gilbert grieve, but when Season 6 premieres, she'll have seemingly moved on from losing the love of her life, Damon.
"One of the big questions you'll be asking when we get back is how did she pick up the pieces?" executive producer Julie Plec told TVGuide.com. "Or did she pick up the pieces at all? When we come back, several months have passed and Elena has returned to her life at school and seems to be doing well, but the mystery is really how well is she doing? And she's got some odd and awkward coping mechanisms that inform a lot about where she is and how she's handling this particular grief."
