Remember when Annie was a prostitute? Or when Silver used a surrogate to get pregnant with her ex-boyfriend-turned-gay best friend's baby? Well, these are just two of the wild and crazy moments throughout 90210's five-season run.
What began as a show about two siblings moving from Kansas to Beverly Hills, navigating their way through high school cliques, finding friends, having first loves and trivial fights soon morphed into a world that included sex tapes, mental disorders, prostitution, pregnancy and even murder. Yes, if you stopped watching 90210 early on, there's a whole lot of crazy you missed out on.
After blowing her chance to go to NYU, Silver is cutting out college altogether... to work for Navid? When 90210 returns for its fourth season (Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW), Kelly's little sis will have a whole new set of priorities.

Over the summer, Silver has sprinted into adulthood: she's now living with Navid (Michael Steger) and playing surrogate mom to his little sister, all while trying to figure out a career for herself. Jessica Stroup, 24, talks to TVGuide.com about her own post-graduation anxiety, why Silver isn't as tight with Naomi this year and teases a "major arc" for her character and ex-beau Teddy.
How will 90210 make the leap to college? By leaving out academics and focusing on the social calendar. New showrunners Patti Carr and Lara Olsen say the recently graduated West Beverly gang won't be dealing with living in the dorms or taking final exams or choosing their majors in the new season. "The aspect of college we're focusing on is the fun of it, the wish fulfillment, the things that kids look forward to," Carr says. "Also, not all of the characters are even attending college...
"Doesn't everyone want to be pulled around by hunky reindeer?" asks 90210's Jessica Lowndes. The actress is taking a breather from the day's task: singing a sultry version of "Santa Baby" while being hauled around on an ice rink by strapping men-deer and a school of merry elves.
Filming the scene hasn't been easy. "I'm from Vancouver, and I don't know how to skate," Lowndes says. "It's embarrassing."
But this is what Adrianna wants, so in Monday's 90210 fall finale, Lowndes' character will celebrate her rapid rise up the pop charts the way any Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star-in-training would. She buys a mansion and a little dog, dresses up as Mrs. Claus (if Mrs. Claus wore fishnet stockings) and throws herself an over-the-top bash.
Filming this week's episode of 90210 was hard on the boys. Michael Steger didn't sleep. Blair Redford's first reaction was a depressed sigh. Tristan Wilds said the rehearsals were crazy.
Wearing only a pair of firemen pants and suspenders, Matt Lanter lowered his voice between takes on set in Long Beach and confided, "I can't say I'm going to be upset when this day is over."

But, oh, gentleviewers, they did it all for you. And by "all," I mean performing a striptease-esque dance on stage to the tune of Sean Kingston's "Fire Burning" for tonight's episode.
The number is all in the name of...
