Susan Lucci
Susan Lucci's lovely, heartfelt new memoir All My Life (It Books/HarperCollins) hits the market March 29 and is sure to be treasured by her many fans. There's some surprising backstage drama here, most notably when the All My Children star recalls her controversial abortion story line in the 1970s, and reveals how she suffered a miscarriage just as the plot was unfolding on air. (No one at the soap knew she was expecting.) And Lucci finally opens up about her long string of Emmy losses, saying her "angst was only multiplied" by the media fuss. But she's the first to admit her life is blessed. No ghastly scandals. No wrenching regrets. No devastatingly dumb decisions. The same can't be said for Erica Kane. On March 29, the Pine Valley siren — already married 11 times — is so determined to prove she's not in love with Caleb (Michael Nouri) that she pushes her fiancé Jack (Walt Willey) into getting hitched ASAP. And off they go to the isle of St. Barts for the ceremony. TV Guide Magazine spoke with La Lucci, the uncontested queen of daytime, about Erica's new royal mess.

All My Children
All My Children has spent months percolating a romance between Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and her crusty mountain man Caleb (Michael Nouri) and so far her fiancé Jack — played by the marvelous Walt Willey — has remained pretty clueless. But he's about to wake up and smell the triangle. This week, David (Vincent Irizarry) comes out of his coma and remembers it was Kendall (Alicia Minshew) who shot him, and that finds an emotionally frazzled Erica leaning on Caleb, rather than Jack. On February 1, Jack catches the two of them in an embrace. TV Guide Magazine had a chat with Willey who — just like a whole lotta Jack and Erica fans — ain't too wild about this turn of events...

Alicia Minshew
Nobody needs a Christmas miracle more than All My Children's Kendall Hart (Alicia Minshew). She's about to receive one — but it's not the one she's hoping for. On the soap's December 27 episode, the Pine Valley heroine, still in deep mourning over the plane-crash death of her husband Zach (Thorsten Kaye), has a visit from Father Clarence, the magical, mystical priest who always appears on the show at holiday time to help those in need. (The terrific Malachy McCourt who played the role for many years had to bow out this time. He's replaced by Michael McCarthy).

NCIS
Pauley Perrette's lab rat Abby has been let loose in the NCIS squad room. In a scene she's shooting for a big two-part episode airing November 16 and 23, she's trying to play pin the tail on the bomber. Pointing to a video of a suspect playing on a computer screen, she blurts out to Sean Murray's McGee, "He just confessed he knew how to make the murder weapon! I mean, how many people know how to make a homemade Claymore mine?"
"In this room?" asks McGee. A couple of visiting Israeli agents raise their hands. So does Cote de Pablo, as NCIS team member Ziva David. Then, sheepishly, so does Abby herself. "OK, fine," she mutters, reluctantly withdrawing her point.

Have you heard anything about Ziva's storyline on NCIS' November sweeps episodes? — Carly
ADAM: A special security team will be tasked with protecting Ziva's father (Michael Nouri) when he attends an NCIS conference. Also at the conference: former NCIS agent Riley McCallister, whose troubled past has given him a bit of a hero complex. It's probably no accident that McCallister is played by Michael O'Neill, who learned a lot about gunplay as a Secret Service agent on The West Wing and as the gunman who shot the hell out of Seattle Grace in last year's Grey's Anatomy finale.
Who does Amber Tamblyn play on House? — Peter
MICKEY: House describes her as the "the love child of Einstein and Mary Poppins." The brainiac's bleeding-heart principles of course irk the cranky doc. So he fires her — several times....

Mark Harmon
The uncovering of skeletons from Jethro Gibbs' past left his father in danger in NCIS' Season 7 finale. As Season 8 begins, everyone close to Gibbs may have a target on his or her back.
Executive producer Shane Brennan tells TVGuide.com that Gibbs Sr. (guest star Ralph Waite) will be front-and-center through the first episode and that his actions will give viewers an idea where Gibbs (Mark Harmon) gets his fighting spirit.
Fall Preview: Get scoop on your favorite returning shows
"It's a big opening," Brennan says. "I advise every fan of the show to sit down and watch that first minute. It's explosive. We finish up that story, and we'll get back into showing NCIS as the team it's always been."
The bad news, however, is that Gibbs' team members feel threatened ...
