Frasier kidnaps his own son to keep him from being ritually circumcised in the Jewish tradition. Rebecca goes through the motions to coordinate another corporate retirement party for her boss's brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Frasier and Lilith, in observance of the Jewish tradition, plan their son's bris--the religious ceremony celebrating a Jewish boy's circumcision. On the day of the bris, the Cheers men feel squeamish about the observance and drag their feet getting there. On they way, the run into a hysterical Frasier and his son. Frasier, who had shamed the gang into going, has now kidnapped his own son to spare him from this 'barbaric' ritual. Rebecca, nervous about her retirement party, allows Frasier to 'hide out' in her office while the retirement party 'codgers' convene in the poolroom. She promises to consider any and all suggestions from the gang in order to liven up the party--and avoid disappointing Mr. Sheridan, her boss. When Lilith, the rabbi and the entire Sternin-Crane bris party enter the bar, Lilith convinces Frasier to yield to tradition and give up their son to public circumcision. The bris goes on as scheduled, and the ensuing combination of religious ritual and retirement party impresses the eclectic nature of Mr. Sheridan, much to Rebecca's relief. watch
