Cheers & Jeers: My Boys to Men?

Jeers to TBS for burying one of TV's most enjoyable sitcoms, My Boys.

The "Very Funny" cable network burned off the whopping nine-episode season of its sly charmer about Chicago sportswriter PJ (Jordana Spiro) and her pals on Sundays opposite such sky-high-profile cable competition as Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Mad Men — whose costar Joel Murray, aka rehabbed alky Freddy Rumsen, guested on Boys as the owner who sold the gang's hangout, Crowley's, to Brando (Reid Scott) in the season finale. read more

My Boys Stars: Season 4 Romance Started at a Table Read

What was My Boys star Jamie Kaler's first TV role? A guy "way too old to be hitting it" on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Kaler and co-star Michael Bunin stopped by TVGuide.com during their current comedy tour to tell us more about their humble beginnings — which may have included porn — and how a table read during the first season led to a romance in Season 4, which premieres Sunday at 10/9c on TBS.

Mega Buzz: Fringe's New Foil, Private's Addison and Sam and True Blood's Wolves

Every week, senior editors Mickey O'Connor and Adam Bryant satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

I can't wait to see how the new season of Fringe goes down. What have you heard? — Martha
MICKEY: As it did in Season 1, the Fringe division will have an in-house adversary, a powerful government official who thinks Agent Broyles gives his team far too much latitude. Her actions will complicate things for Walter & Co., who will already be burdened by the secret sabotage of Nolivia (the "over-there" Olivia).

Can I have some Addison-and-Sam Private Practice scoop, please? — Jamie
ADAM: Well, series star Kate Walsh is thrilled by the coupling, but she hopes the new season will show read more

The 'Burbs

This week on TBS' My Boys, we take a trip to the 'burbs to see where Andy (played by Jim Gaffigan) lives. A potential nightmare for the boys, they decide it could be a good opportunity to meet some suburban chicks. This episode was shot at the Warner Ranch. The backyard was used for many years by The Partridge Family (just a piece of nostalgia for those of you old enough to remember). The Warner Ranch was fun because you are shooting on the same street with the houses of Dennis the Menace and Sergeant Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon. We got Gary Busey to reenact the fight in the front yard. No, we didn't — that would be ridiculous. Cool, but ridiculous. We get to see the guys push each other aside or sell each other out to meet these girls. Bobby can't seem to find the place, but the guys keep thinking they see him at the BBQ. The BBQ is filled with kids. And if a hot girl has a kid, well then Mike (Jamie Kaler) figures the best approach is to show her he's good with kids. Jamie wa... read more

Second Chances

Hello, and welcome to my first blog. I hope it isn’t too boring. First of all, thanks for watching and for all the great feedback you leave us at TBS.com. It means so much!Well, here we are, the episode named "Second Chances." We have yet another fun guest star this week: Jeremy Sisto. Jeremy is great guy! He and I have actually known each other for a while now from playing quite a bit of poker over the last few years. He joked a lot about how much fun he had shooting this episode but that he was sad he didn’t get to play poker with "the Boys." He views that as a coveted thing for a guest star to do. Maybe next time, buddy. Jeremy plays PJ’s ex-flame who brings back old memories. Then they... well, I can’t tell you everything.I had a ton of fun shooting this one. Brendan seems to be more of a jerk lately and continues as such in this episode. And we finally get to see where Kenny works! The store looked really good. Our design crew does a great job every week bui... read more
