Backstage at Dancing with the Stars: No Drama?

One of the biggest surprises on Dancing with the Stars this season has been its relative lack of fireworks. It isn't about the stars behaving badly, which we were expecting with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, the charismatic Jersey Shore star. It isn't about romantic hanky-panky or animosity between the celebs and their pro ...

Dancing's Anna Trebunskaya Getting Kurt Warner in the "Music Zone"

Dancing With The Stars

After coming oh-so-close to the Mirrorball trophy twice, Dancing with the Stars' Anna Trebunskaya is ready to go all the way this season with Kurt Warner. "I hope so. It's still a long way to go, but I think we can do it," she tells TVGuide.com. "Kurt's working really hard and has made a lot of strides in the past week alone." That progress was reflected last week, as the retired National Football League quarterback earned unanimous praise from the judges and improved his score two points to 21. Find out what Trebunskaya — who finished second with Jerry Rice and Evan Lysacek in Seasons 2 and 10, respectively — is working on with Warner the most for Monday's storytelling theme and get her thoughts on Bruno Tonioli's harsh critique of Michael Bolton.

Top Moments: '90s Nostalgia with Letterman, Justin Timberlake and Glee

Glee, Justin Timberlake

Let's get in the way-back machine and remember the '90s — when David Letterman teased Oprah Winfrey at the Oscars, hip-hop and Britney Spears topped the charts, and an adorable scamp named Jennifer Love Hewitt stole America's heart on Party of Five. Television this week recalled those heady days. Letterman finally revealed the incident that started his feud with Winfrey. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake crafted a joyous medley tracing the rise and reign of hip-hop. The Glee crew called Spears an "icon." And Hewitt unleashed an unexpectedly bravura performance on Law & Order: SVU. Welcome to Top Moments: Remember the'90s? Edition.

Backstage at Dancing With the Stars: Pros React to Bruno's Harsh Comments

Bruno Tonioli

This was not your typical Dancing With the Stars elimination. The stars and their pro partners were unusually upset by the ouster of crooner Michael Bolton — and even more upset by judge Bruno Tonioli's devastating comments on Bolton's performance the night before, including ... read more

Backstage at Opening Night of Dancing With the Stars

Dancing with the Stars

"I'm about to vomit," said Barbara Chase, moments before the curtain rose on Season 11 of Dancing With The Stars. Chase, suffering from nervous tension, is the proud daughter of "America's Mom," Brady Bunch veteran Florence Henderson, who at 76 is the show's star senior citizen. "She's always stayed in shape," said Chase, "but this is so hard." Is it like going from zero to 60 in terms of her physical stamina? "No, not zero. More like 35 to 60. But still..."

Dancing With The Stars

Tom Bergeron felt the pressure. So did Brooke Burke.

After Dancing with the Stars' surprisingly strong Season 10 — highlighted by beating American Idol in the ratings for the first time — the co-hosts are well aware that the season will be tough to follow, let alone top.

"I think it surprised even us how strong we came out the gate last season and how well it held," Bergeron tells TVGuide.com. "It sort of became the man-bites-dog story because ...

Jeers: NBC's Clash Is Dismissed

Patti Labelle by Eric Liebowitz/NBC

Jeers to NBC for wasting its airtime with Clash of the Choirs. Can we blame the strike for the proliferation of such "unscripted" filler? For two punishing hours, perkily plastic hostess Maria Menounos introduced five bland vocal groups led by celebs like Nick Lachey (whose bio montage averted any mention of ex-wife Jessica Simpson), Patti LaBelle and Michael Bolton (whose former mullet seems to have been transplanted to his overexposed chest). Between the oddly chosen songs ("Livin' on a Prayer," anyone?), the contestants' stories unsubtly jerked tears. How can the same network that produces the sublime 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights proudly present such ridiculous pabulum?• Read and react to Bruce's opinions on the Dexter finale, 30 Rock's Christmas episode and more!• Share your own raves and rants about other shows on the Reader Cheers & Jeers discussion board.• We may feature your Cheer or Jeer on TVGuide.com or in TV Guide magazine! read more
