Raymond Cruz, best known to fans of The Closer as Detective Julio Sanchez, is playing a man of the law again on the upcoming season of White Collar, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
But there's a twist! Cruz will play Sheriff Enrico Morales, a corrupt...
Word has just come in that the reports which have been circling the web of Penelope Cruz hooking up with her sister in her brother's music video are false. Yes, Penelope is in fact swapping spit with another female in the video, but not with her sister Monica. Instead, the steamy scene is with actress Mia Maestro. You may recognize the Argentinean beauty from her role in Alias as Sidney's half-sister. Needless to say it's no wonder how the rumors began considering the uncanny resemblance between the two!
The countdown to Alias' hotly anticipated series finale officially got under way last week when new mum Jennifer Garner returned to the set to begin work on the show's last 10 or so episodes. And although ABC has yet to announce when (or where) the spy drama will complete its run (what's up with that?), there's every reason to believe that the 5-year-old series will go out the same way it came in: with a huge bang and a ton of hype. Not one to diminish expectations, executive producer Jeff Pinkner declares, "We want every episode from here to the end to top the one before it." OK, if ever there's a statement that demands a few follow-up Qs, it's that one. So, let's get to it.
Ausiello: What are some of the big returns you have planned?Pinkner: Lena Olin's coming back for the 99th episode, which is our second one back.
Ausiello: Really? Just for the 99th?Pinkner: Well, no, she's actually going to be back for a co
Question: All this talk about Michael Vartan and Greg Grunberg's exits from Alias, what's the story behind Mia Maestro leaving?
Answer: The story is that she's returning on Nov. 17. Here's a tease ABC put out about the ep: "When the group claiming to have a cure for Nadia continues to play mind games with him, Sloane struggles for control."
Question: Is Alias planning on bringing Mia Maestro back at all this season? I figured they would be able to cure Nadia as quickly as they cured Jack last season.
Answer: I'm going to let exec producer Jeff Pinkner take this one: "Jack's illness and Nadia's illness are apples and oranges. Coming into the season, Sloane's agenda is to find a cure for his daughter. The question for Sloane is, how far will he go to cure her? You will definitely be seeing Nadia this season, but ultimately, it will be up to Sloane how often we see her and in what condition." Hey, that's some major-ass prattle! (And with that, I rest my case.)
