Melora Walters Fast Facts:

Born in Saudi Arabia, she spent part of her childhood in the Netherlands.
Studied art at New York's Pratt Institute.
Appeared in off-Broadway productions after training at New York's Actors Studio.
Made TV debut on Roseanne in 1989.
Had guest roles on Murphy Brown, NYPD Blue, Picket Fences, Seinfeld, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Desperate Housewives.
Best known for appearing in three of director Paul Thomas Anderson's films: Hard Eight (1996), Boogie Nights (1997) and Magnolia (1999).
Before costarring in Big Love, she was a regular on the CBS medical drama L.A. Doctors (1998-99) and the ABC action/adventure series Threat Matrix (2003-04).
Wrote a book of poetry, Sonnets & Failures, that also included her artwork.
