Jenny and Shane's roommate Mark becomes increasingly manipulative in his quest to capture spicy secret videos of them in compromising positions. He even goes so far as to hire a friend to pose as a delivery woman and seduce the very willing Shane. As Dana prepares to travel to La Jolla for a demonstration tennis match against Tonya's client Martina Navratilova, Alice tells Dana to call off the wedding with Tonya. Alice even goes so far as to write a 'break-up script' for the reluctant Dana, but it's Tonya who has the last laugh when a shocking secret is revealed that leaves Alice and Dana free to become a couple. Jenny and Carmen bond over an adorable lost puppy they find. The attraction between them grows when Jenny is given an assignment by her writing instructor to remain mute for an entire day -- a difficult task when the puppy's owner appears and when she and Carmen share their first kiss. Bette attends a Benjamin Bradshaw lecture with Kit. While Bette gleans some helpful information, she's still not convinced that her sister's new friend possesses any life-altering Betwisdom. In the meantime, the relationship between Kit and Benjamin goes to the next level despite the fact that he's (unhappily) married. Bette tells Tina that she plans to be involved in their child's upbringing - one way or another. At a dinner party for activists supported by her foundation, Helena Peabody sneaks off for a rendezvous with Tina in a hotel pool. watch

Say what you will about Joan Rivers (God knows she's probably already said it funnier), but the woman really is a piece of work.

Last night, the legendary cut-up kicked off her new reality show, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best, and proved to us all that Betty White isn't the only woman of a certain age worth watching these days. Loaded down with more baggage than a Bachelor contestant and enough opinions to put Fox News in a fetal position, Rivers also showed that she's as gutsy as some of her own material as she traded 21 years in Manhattan for Malibu to crash with daughter and red-carpet comrade Melissa. Did hilarity ensue? Sure. But so did some unexpected drama.
