Fashion Hit or Miss: AnnaLynne McCord and Melanie Brown

AnnaLynne McCord, Melanie Brown

Welcome to Hooker-Gate 2009!

90210's AnnaLynne McCord and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown are getting in touch with their inner streetwalkers in these form-fitting outfits.

McCord (left) might be going for biker chic with all that black leather, but she clearly never got the memo that less is more. A black corset over a white cami and a black push-up bra? It's almost as if she was asking for the fashion bloggers to come up with a snappy new synonym for "whore." In McCord's defense, she does play a slut on TV.

On the other hand, Brown (right) is not wearing too many clothes; they're just too tight. Yes, she's stick-thin, but that doesn't excuse shiny leggings and pink and silver sequins.

Vote in our poll after the jump.

Lohan added fuel to the fire when she was photographed schmoozing with Mel B., who plays Peep Diva in the show, at an after-party over the weekend. The former Spice Girl told ...

At the Dancing Finish Line

Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough by Carol Kaelson/ABC

I don’t know about you, but I got my wish Tuesday night. Boiled down to three words: Anyone. But. Marie. Seriously folks, if Dancing with the Stars’ trophy had gone to Marie Osmond the underdog — or rather, underdoll, as I like to think of her after Monday’s bizarre freestyle nondance that would have been better suited for the Island of Misfit Toys — I might even have joined the legions of disgruntled fans who tend to declare "I’m never watching again" after each cycle when their favorite doesn’t win.And then, of course, they return the following season, because once hooked on this deliriously entertaining reality contest, few can resist the spectacle of watching B-list celebs put on their dancing shoes with varying degrees of nerve, style and success. New stars tend to emerge from this process, and few have blazed with such effortless charm than the eventual winner, Helio Castroneves, whom I’d bet very few outside of my Indy-500-obsessed fami... read more

And the Winner Is...

Helio Castroneves! Wow I am so happy and relieved right now. In my world of delusions, I like to think I had everything to do with this but I guess my Helio did some fantastic dancing all season and the voters out there recognized him for it. They brought out milk! I learned recently that it's a race car thing — they drink milk when they win a big race. I think it's weird, I mean why not champagne? It was a nice touch tonight, though. I'm just so glad Marie didn't win. Phew! You have no idea what a relief it was to have her out of the way after the first few minutes. But I don't want to dwell on the negative, I promised the Marie fans there would be no hard feelings and I meant it. Nanny Nanny boo boo! We won! Yeah! I am so immature. But in all seriousness, I think Marie was a bit miffed, no? Even last night she seemed to be acting a bit superior. She took any chance she had to sass the judges and didn't seem to think they had anything relevant (or true) to say. I know I've been... read more

Backstage at Dancing with the Stars' Emotional Finale

Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves, Dancing with the Stars

The finale was everything Monday night wasn't: Supercharged and electrifying, the dancers returned to dazzling form. And the fatigue, illness and injuries were forgotten. Well, almost forgotten. Pro dancer Mark Ballas, who wowed the crowd again doing his show-stopping cha-cha-cha with the much-missed Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, was whisked off to the hospital immediately after their performance. He had been in some distress for two days with a sore shoulder. "Something kind of funky was happening," says Bryan, who was anxious to join Ballas at the hospital after the show. "But he's a true competitor. And even though we weren't competing tonight, he wanted to have our last performance. He was not going to let anyone know." But Jane Seymour knew. "He shouldn't have been dancing," she said after the show. "He's hurt himself." Mark Cuban knew, too. "His father told me that he's got a torn muscle in his shoulder, and it's really, really painful," says Cuban. "It happens to basket read more

A Mediocre Finale Night

I must say I thought I'd be more pumped after the finale, but I wasn't too wowed by most of the performances tonight. My Helio's final dance definitely made up for it, but he and Mel didn't give the Marie fans any reason to switch from the dark side. I think Mel may have lost the competition tonight. Her cha-cha was ok but that freestyle was not good at all. She looked like Marie trying to do a latin dance. Awkward! Maks basically danced around her. I was shocked that her hip-hop moves were so lackluster. I don't think it helped that the house band butchered their song, "The Way I Are". If I were Timbaland, I'd bust into that ballroom and scream. They tried to mimic the robotic voice in the song but ended up sounding like Ned from South Park. I disagreed with the score she received. It was not a dance worth a 27.When the judges picked the samba for Marie, I was excited. I thought they would lob her a waltz but when they picked her downfall (which is pretty much any latin dance), I w... read more

Maks Attacks, Says Dancing's Final Three Is Wrong

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Melanie Brown by Carol Kaelson/ABC

Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn't one to dance around the truth. When asked by TV's Extra if America got the final three right going into the last week of Dancing with the Stars, he says, "I think Jennie [Garth] was better than Marie [Osmond]," who is still in the competition. "Frankly, I think there are a lot of other people better than Marie.” At the of the day (or Tuesday night, more accurately), who should be crowned champ? Maks believes his own partner, Melanie Brown, "should win," noting, "She’s hands down the best dancer left... [the] most capable, most natural." Alas, as often happens with reality contests, true talent can get trumped. "History shows [Dancing's celeb champ is] either a cute man or somebody with a huge fan base and I think Marie has both Helio and Mel's fan base combined times five."POLL: Who is your pick to win DWTS? Vote here. read more
