Top Moments: The Office's Barf-o-rama, Paris Hilton's Topless Cameo and More!

Let's face it: TV this week was pretty disgusting. On Heroes, Sylar crawled out of his grave and back from the dead — a development that made us disgusted with the show's writers. A sense of moral outrage accompanied the news that Chase killed an African dictator on House. Paris Hilton made us feel shame for liking her, and then got graphically beheaded on Supernatural. The Office elevated a pregnancy cliché — morning sickness — to high comedy art. South Park made us rethink Mexican cuisine. And Madonna and Lady Gaga made a gross display of themselves on SNL. Welcome to this week's Top Moments: Profound Disgust Edition.

"The Test"

This was definitely one of the tougher episodes in recent memory especially being the mother of a son Watching Gates brave young patient succumb to his terminal respiratory disease was almost too much to bear The scene with the chaplain and the mother watching his struggle for each breath was heartbreaking made even more so by the courage and conviction the boy demonstrated by making the decision not to go on a ventilator On a much more lighthearted note I felt like there was a lot of chemistry between Sam and Gates as they butted heads over the ethical handling of the case Ive said it before but I really feel like a Sam-Tony pairing would be an interesting place to go especially when you think about the kids and the connection they would have there Come on ER writers throw me a boneAs Pratt and Morris opted for a rather nontraditional approach to preparing for their board exams a new attending came on the scene I loved Kari Matchett on both Invasion and St read more

Betty Does Dallas: Brady Buncher Plays J.R. for Laughs

Betty Thomas, the director who delivered two tongue-in-cheek Brady Bunch movies to the cineplex, is in talks to seize the reins of the big-screen Dallas remake, which at this oft, oft-delayed point still has John Travolta attached to play J.R. Ewing. Screenwriter Pam Brady (Hot Rod, and perhaps related to Cousin Oliver?) is taking a fresh, fresher crack at the script.Over the course of the assorted delays, such once-eyed stars as Jennifer Lopez (as Sue Ellen), Luke Wilson (Bobby) and Shirley MacLaine (Miss Ellie) have bailed on the adaptation. Meg Ryan was the latest name bandied about to tackle Sue Ellen. A January 2008 start date is now being targeted. read more
