As Passions star Galen Gering forewarned TVGuide.com, Sheridan (McKenzie Westmore) did not initially recognize Luis when the heiress found her not-so-dead lover all beaten up in Hawaii. Next week, Sheridan unwraps Luis' bandages in the hospital and gets an eyeful of his handsome (albeit bruised) face at long last! "We definitely had a laugh. It's totally a soap-opera moment," Westmore says. "This reunion is big for the fans because Sheridan and Luis haven't seen each other in seven months."

Passions devotees who root for "Shuis" — the popular Sheridan-and-Luis pairing — are worried to see McKenzie Westmore romancing Adrian Wilson's Chris. Particularly since they've known all along that Luis, as played by Galen Gering, isn't really dead — he was merely written off temporarily due to a delay in the actor's contract negotiations last year. After a six-month absence, Luis will return to Passions on March 8 to find Sheridan married to Chris! Here's what Galen has to say about that and much more.

The Passions cast sure are a fertile bunch. Frequently bare-chested hunk Eric Martsolf (Ethan) and wife Lisa are expecting twin boys in March 2006. No word yet on which son will be the evil twin. Meanwhile, McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan) and musician-husband Seven will welcome a baby boy of their own in late May or early June. "We're so excited," Westmore enthuses. "Both of us are thrilled to become parents. This has made the holiday season extra special for us this year."
