Man Up! Ratings meh! Last Man Standing? Nearly 3 million standing ... and walking away.
The debut of the ABC sitcom about three guys (Christopher Moynihan, Mather Zickel and Dan Folger) sussing out what it takes to be a modern man (and whether it includes using pomegranate body wash) grabbed 7.8 million viewers at 8:30/7:30c, posting a 2.4 rating among industry-prized 18-to-49-year-olds — third in its time slot by both measures. Reviews deemed the show insultingly bad.
At 8/7c, a week after Tim Allen's new sitcom debuted to 12.95 million viewers, the show had 10.20 million tuning back in — a 21 percent drop. It also garnered a 3.0 demo rating, down from 3.5 a week ago.

The network describes this latest "comedy" about male insecurities as being "in the vein of The Hangover." Only in the vein of people who watch The Hangover and think: Boy, I wish I could be that funny.
