Mary Louise Parker and Justin Kirk

Heading to New York to reunite with Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) may turn out to be a bad idea for Andy (Justin Kirk) and the Botwin boys, as they'll come to learn in Weeds' seventh season that they finally need to get out from under Nancy's thumb.

Though Andy, Silas (Hunter Parrish) and Shane (Alexander Gould) spent three years in Copenhagen away from Nancy and her latest schemes, the minute she was released from jail, the family headed to New York, hoping to find a hopefully changed Nancy. However, Andy found himself... read more

Weeds' Jenji Kohan: Nancy's Family Will Rebel in Season 7

Weeds, Mary Louise Parker

After three years in prison, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) gets released in the Season 7 premiere of Weeds — and not everyone will be happy.

Weeds Finale Post-Mortem: Creator Jenji Kohan Says Show May End After Next Season

Weeds

Smoke 'em if you got 'em, because Weeds may not be around much longer.

In Monday's sixth season finale, Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) sacrificed herself by claiming responsibility for the murder of Pilar. She was last seen surrounded by FBI agents at the airport, while her family was on a plane headed for Europe. Once again, it looks like Nancy's out of options. Or is she? Will we next see her plotting a season-long jail break? Series creator Jenji Kohan says getting stuck in major jams is certainly nothing new for Nancy.

Creator Jenji Kohan on Weeds' finale: "It's the end of a journey"

"We always tend to write ourselves into a corner to a certain extent," she says. "Everyone goes home, rests and comes back fresh and says, 'All right, how are we going to get out of this sh--? What have we done?' There were vague discussions of what's going to happen next year, but there's nothing definitive in the works yet."

Kohan talks to TVGuide.com about Monday's cliff-hanger, why the upcoming seventh season may be the last, and whether Nancy will be wearing an orange jumpsuit when the show returns... read more

That changes Monday. Just as the Botwins are preparing to high-tail it for Copenhagen, Esteban (Demian Bichir) and Guillermo (Guillermo Diaz) showed up. "It's the end of a journey," Weeds creator-executive producer Jenji Kohan tells TVGuide.com.
