As if "Blurred Lines" didn't already have enough controversy, Robin Thicke has now taken the song to court.

The singer and his "Blurred Lines" co-composers Pharrell Williams and Clifford Harris filed suit in Los Angeles on Thursday asking a federal judge to determine the summer hit doesn't copy songs composed by Marvin Gaye and Parliament Funkadelic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bobby Rogers, who helped form the Motown group the Miracles along with Smokey Robinson, died Sunday in Detroit after a lengthy illness, Reuters reports. He was 73.

Motown Songwriter Nick Ashford Dies at 70

Nick Ashford, the Motown hitmaker who penned such classics as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "You're All I Need to Get By" with wife Valerie Simpson, has died. He was 70.

Ashford, who had battled throat cancer, died Monday at a New York hospital with his family by his side, his rep told Reuters.
