Longtime sportscaster Marv Albert — best known as the lead announcer on NBC's coverage of the NBA and for his signature calls "Yes!" and "RE-jected!" — is joining CBS Sports to broadcast NFL games, the network announced Monday.
"Marv Albert is recognized throughout sports broadcasting as one of its true legends. Very few in the broadcasting industry can claim his combined accomplishments and remarkable longevity," CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus said.

Marv Albert has signed a new deal with TNT to call NBA games into the 2015-16 season. He'll continue to call weekly games, the All-Star Game and the playoffs and, starting next season, will also show up on NBA TV.... Pat Knight steps into the spotlight for his first game as Texas Tech men's basketball head coach tonight at Baylor (Feb. 6, 9 pm/ET, ESPNU). Knight's dad, Bobby, unexpectedly resigned as head coach on Monday. As part of a 2005 agreement, the job transferred to the younger Knight.... We don't usually say much about college hockey here, but there's a great matchup on Friday: No. 1 Miami of Ohio hosts No. 2 Michigan (Feb. 8, 8 pm/ET, CSTV).
