Martina Navratilova Proposes to Girlfriend During U.S. Open

Tennis champ Martina Navratilova is engaged after she proposed to longtime girlfriend Julia Lemigova (where else?) during the middle of U.S. Open!

On Saturday, Navratilova got down on one knee between the  men's semifinals while everyone at Arthur Ashe Stadium watched on the jumbotron outside. (It's a good thing she said yes!) "I was very nervous," Navratilova she told The Associated Press. "It was kind of an out-of-body experience. When Elisabeth Shue joined CSI last year, she had one request.

"[Producers] asked me if there were any ideas I had or anything I'd like to do that would be fun, and I said, 'We should do a murder at a tennis tournament and we'll get professional players to come on.' 'What?!' I was just shocked, but so, so excited."

Dancing With the Stars: The Highest Highs, The Lowest Lows

They both looked stunned: William Levy, the 31-year-old Latin heartthrob who is causing quite a commotion in the ballroom before he even starts dancing. And Martina Navratilova, the 55-year-old tennis legend who broke down in tears, twice, on the press line following Monday's episode of Dancing With the Stars, after getting the lowest score of the night for her awkward and out-of-sync jive. read more
