Mario Van Peebles (New Jack City) will return to Damages this season, reprising the role of Agent Harrison.Interestingly, Van Peebles was first brought on to the FX series to direct a few Season 1 episodes, and was then cast in a small role as the agent who asks Ellen to spy on her boss. Now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Harrison will be back for six more episodes in Season 2 (which begins in early 2009) to make sure that the ethically challenged Patty gets what's coming to her.Van Peebles is also on board to direct new episodes of FX's new biker drama Sons of Anarchy.Are you excited for the eventual return of Damages -- and of Agent Harrison? TV Guide Online: This film really shows how your dad fought to do things his way in the '70s.Mario Van Peebles: Yeah, my father insisted on having a multiracial crew. At that time, the unions were mostly all white and male. People were saying, "We shall overcome one day," but my dad was saying, "We shall overcome right now!" My father was mad at "isms" — racism, sexism and ageism, but he was never mad a
