Mario Cantone is shy. (No, not really!) So when Erin Fox asked him what he thought of this year's Emmy winners, watch what he had to say about Ryan Seacrest, Jeff Probst, Bryan Cranston and Michael C. Hall.

Before I get into the main part of this episode the trip to Bora Bora I've got to begin by saying how happy I was that mama Maggie was featured so much. I never expected to enjoy watching the antics of an 87 year-old woman as much as I do, but this episode was very Maggie-centric, so I was loving every minute of it. Since Maggie is too frightened to fly these days and wasn't able to join Team Griffin on their trip to Bora Bora, she was still prominently featured before and after the trip. Now don't get me wrong. I still watch this show first and foremost because Kathy cracks me up. But after Mrs. Kathy, Maggie is my favorite.I will now tell you why this episode, one that mostly took place in Bora Bora, did not bore-uh bore-uh me, by, of course, listing the highlights: Setting the tone for the episode, Kathy was first seen doing stand-up and talking about her mother (which meant I was smiling right away). Kathy said she wanted to put together an "old person's surv...

During an interview yesterday with Sex and the City's Mario Cantone, the ladies of The View seemed to get a little randy with each other. When the winners are revealed, probably between July 9 and Aug. 2, we predict the show stays ladies only. As Elisabeth Hasselbeck told TV Guide, Women feel safe with women. Its justcomforting. Fans should keep their eyes on three candidates who have cohosted numerous times: Gayle King, who won raves for her Meredith Vieira-style moderating last week, Whoopi Goldberg and fellow funny lady Sherri Shepherd, who are cohosting July 9 and 13. There could be two African-American hosts, which would be great, says a source close to the show. King has one big plus going for her: She would probably bring some of her B...

The latest buzz in "Who will replace Rosie?" land is that comedian Mario Cantone, a frequent guest on The View (and well-known to Sex and the City fans as Charlotte's bitchy pal), might be tapped to join the heretofore all-female panel. Responding to the People tale, Advocate editor Sean Kennedy tells the New York Post, "It makes sense to have a gay guy on the show after all these years." And again, we proactively mourn the loss of all that Barbara Walters-instigated heterosexual sex talk.
