While trading with some Apache Nation tribesmen, it is accidentally discovered that one Apache man possesses a tiny cache of gold nuggets. Greed overcomes a few members of Pitcalin's group, who steal the gold and kill several Apache. The men also take an Apache women captive and beat her, in hopes she will lead them to the source of the gold. Meanwhile, an Apache warrior begins trailing the murderous thieves in order to exact slow, torturous revenge on the men who kidnapped his sister and killed his wife and child. This movie also features the rock musician Don Henley (The Eagles) in a rare screen performance. Filmed on location in Arizona and the Sequoia National Forest.
