Marcus Wainwright, co-founder of rag & bone, says the new luxury can be as simple as a proper-fitting pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
Founded in 2002, and named for the original recycling gent old England s rag and bone man this denim brand-turned-internationally coveted label has roots on both sides of the pond. With a cheeky sense of humor to match their bona fide British style, the renegade English lads of Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, have spent the past decade proving the UK knows how to make it in America.
The designers are asked to create a look inspired by Uniqlo, which is presented to the judges at a party hosted at the home of Anna Wintour. Rag & Bone s David Neville and Marcus Wainwright share their own experience as well as what is really being awarded during this section of the competition - the art vs. commerce.
