Amazing Race's Mark and Mallory: Our Communication Was Bad

Mark, Mallory

The new — but not necessarily improved — Team Kentucky didn't last long on The Amazing Race All-Stars. After Mallory replaced Bopper to race with Mark, the hybrid duo became the second team eliminated on Sunday after they forgot Mark's backpack at the Roadblock and debated whether or not to go back and get it. "I think we were at a disadvantage from the beginning with communication," Mallory tells TVGuide.com. "We didn't know each other well and we didn't talk about anything about the Race since I came in so late." See what else the two had to say about their last-minute pairing, how the Detour also set the back and if they'd ever race together again.

Amazing Race's Bopper: Withdrawal Was "Heartbreaking"

Bopper

The Amazing Race All-Stars made its first elimination before the race even started. That "gut-wrenching" start Phil Keoghan described saw fan fave Bopper bow out at the starting line due to an inflamed pancreas. Instead of his BFF Mark withdrawing as well, Bopper was replaced by fellow Kentuckian and now three-time Racer Mallory. "The whole thing was just terrible timing," Bopper tells TVGuide.com. "But as much as I wish I could've gone, I wanted Mark to go even more. He shouldn't miss out on this because of me." See what else the Season 20 alum had to say about his withdrawal and how it all went down.

Amazing Race's Zev and Justin: Waxing Task Was "Injury to Insult"

Zev and Justin

To say the Rio leg on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business was not made for Zev Glassenberg and Justin Kanew would be an understatement. First, Zev and his "white boy rhythm" clashed with the samba Roadblock and then the best friends — the hairiest team of all — had to endure even more cruel and unusual punishment: waxing. "I don't know if the leg was designed to torture us, but it certainly did do that," Justin tells TVGuide.com. "We're going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't throw that waxing thing in there when they saw that we were in the final four." Still, there are no hard feelings — just a little bleeding — since "the Race doesn't decide how hairy we are."

Amazing Race's Gary and Mallory: Our Cabbie Lost Us $1 Million

Phil Keoghan, Mallory, Gary

Bad taxi luck struck Gary and Mallory Ervin at the worst time on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business — on the last leg, and they couldn't do anything about it. "Once we pulled out of the airport, there was no going back. We were married to [our cabbie] Sterling for better or worse," Gary tells TVGuide.com. "We went to remote locations, so we couldn't change cabs." Despite that, the father and daughter made up major time on Kisha and Jen, and Flight Time and Big Easy at the trailer task and are happy they got to go out racing hard.

Amazing Race's Flight Time and Big Easy: We Didn't Bully Kent and Vyxsin

Flight Time & Big Easy

The final Amazing Race: Unfinished Business task — assembling a trailer park — was all about the details, and unfortunately for Herb "Flight Time" Lang and Nate "Big Easy" Lofton, they glossed over one that cost them the $1 million. "I think we could've been there longer if we didn't [look at Kisha and Jen's table setting]," Big Easy tells TVGuide.com. "It was about the small details. With the wind blowing everything, it was just something that we missed." The Harlem Globetrotters are, however, happy to "finish strong" and complete all 12 legs. See what else they have to say about their time on the Race, sharing answers, and get their side on Gnome-gate.

Amazing Race Winners Kisha and Jen: We Feel Very Accomplished

Phil Keoghan and Kisha and Jen Hoffman

LaKisha and Jennifer Hoffman saved their best for last. Though they were the only final four team not to win a leg on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business, they came in first on the one that mattered the most and won the $1 million. "We were asked in the [confessionals], 'How does it feel going into the final four without winning a leg?' We were like, 'OK, what's the point of winning four or five legs if you don't win the last one?'" Kisha tells TVGuide.com. "That was our attitude: The last one is what counts." The sisters became the second all-female team to win and in the process, overcame their fear of water while still taking — yes — another pee break.

Phil Keoghan

SPOILER ALERT: The following story reveals the winners of The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.

After clocking in more than 40,000 miles in nine countries, Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time and Big Easy, sisters Kisha and Jen, father and daughter Gary and Mallory, and best friends Zev and Justin face off in the final two legs for the $1 million on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.

Amazing Race's Phil Keoghan: Get Ready for a "Really Tight Finish"

Phil Keoghan

Phil Keoghan promises the promo hyping a "photo finish" on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business is not an exaggeration.

"It's a really tight finish. We really didn't know right up until the last minute exactly who was going to come around the corner," he tells TVGuide.com. "But that's what makes it so exciting. The last couple of seasons, we've had a few wins that were not as close, so this was a real treat."

Amazing Race's Kent and Vyxsin: The Globetrotters were "very appalling"

Sunday's two-hour finale (8/7c, CBS) takes the final four teams — Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time and Big Easy; sisters Kisha and Jen; father and daughter Gary and Mallory; and best friends Zev and Justin — to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where one team will be eliminated, and then Miami for the big finish.

So what else can we expect?

Amazing Race's Kent and Vyxsin: The Globetrotters Were "Very Appalling"

The Amazing Race, Kent and Vyxsin

A 30-minute penalty for taking a cab to the Pit Stop instead of going by foot doomed Kent Kaliber and Vyxsin Fiala on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business, but the real drama came at the Roadblock when the Globetrotters accused Vyxsin of stealing Flight Time's gnome mold. "I didn't take it," Vyxsin tells TVGuide.com. "It was pretty clear on the episode the way they showed it when I put mine on the bottom shelf. I talked to the chocolate teachers and everybody said, 'No, of course, you didn't take it.'" Of course, that wasn't enough to stop the Globetrotters from taunting the Goths — behavior Kent dubs "pretty disgusting." See what else they have to say about the Globetrotters and which team should not be underestimated.

Amazing Race's Jet and Cord: It Would've Been "Really Cool" If Someone Told Us the Answer

Jet and Cord, Amazing Race

They survived back-to-back close-call legs, but cowboys/brothers Jet and Cord McCoy couldn't make another comeback on The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Sunday. After Jet was the only Racer to redo the Roadblock of measuring the length of Liechtenstein — and was left out of the answer sharing circle — the fan favorites had their fates sealed when they were U-Turned by the Globetrotters in Zermatt, Switzerland. Still, the self-proclaimed "lone rangers" don't think their independent style of racing hurt them in a leg where so many teams worked together. "If we had an alliance with the Globetrotters, I think in the same situation, they would've done exactly what they did," Jet tells TVGuide.com. "An alliance might give you that warm, fuzzy feeling, but I don't know if it's going to save you." See what else the Season 16 alums have to say about their exit, if they would've used the U-Turn and why Gary rocks.
