Television personality Madison Michele is an on-air host and entertainment correspondent for TV Guide Network, serving as a regular anchor for the Network’s signature program HOLLYWOOD 411, and host for several TV Guide Network original specials and Red Carpet coverage.
A native of Alexandria, Va., Madison is the daughter of a Filipino mother and an American father. While studying at New York University, Madison resumed modeling, a career she’d begun as a child. In 1996, it was her selection as the spokesmodel for the Wonderbra that made Madison a household name. She beat out more than 1,200 other hopefuls for the ad campaign — over 50,000 ballots were cast and in the final vote, America chose Madison.
It was around this time that Madison also began enjoying a career as an actress and television host. She was regularly seen as a special correspondent for NBC’s “Access Hollywood,” CBS’s “Entertainment Tonight” and ABC’s “ABC in Concert.” Then in 1998, she joined VH1 and quickly became one of the channel’s most popular hosts.
Madison takes her acting career very seriously. She has been studying the trade since 1996, and she has landed several film and television credits, including a role in the independent film “The Definite Maybe” and in the FOX Movie of the Week “Steel Chariots.”
In 2001, Madison returned to college after a 10-year hiatus. After two years as a full-time student, she graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in history. In the summer of 2003, Madison spent a month in South Africa, where she went on a photo safari in Kruger National Park and fell in love with the elephants. She considers this experience one of the highlights of her life. Madison recently returned from the Republic of the Maldives. While there, she enjoyed scuba diving with sea turtles and learning about their “Save a Sea Turtle” program.
Currently, Madison lives in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter and her two beloved cats, Simba and Ryder.
