Matt Bomer and Darren Criss
I'm trying to come to grips with the knowledge that Steven Tyler and I have something in common. Namely, a mini-obsession with Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," a song that after this week in TV I can't get out of my head.

Our top moments of the week:
13. Most Intriguing Tease: How I Met Your Mother's exhaustive time-jumping episode wraps up with an emotional payoff when it flashes-forward to 2015 and shows new dad Ted cradling his infant baby girl. (All together now: Aw!) But the real tease is that Barney is very conspicuously hiding his left hand throughout the scene. We know he's getting married in the season finale, but will he still be...

When did Mad Men become a horror movie?
Set against the backdrop of panic caused by Richard Speck's 1966 massacre of eight nursing students in Chicago, Sunday's episode, "Mystery Date," was filled with chills (a strangulation, things that go bump in the night at the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce offices, grandma Pauline's butcher knife) and at least one thrill (Joan finally shipping her husband off to Vietnam for good).

In Wednesday's episode (10/9c on CBS), Mac's former lover, Peyton Driscoll (Claire Forlani) returns to New York for the first time since she abruptly dumped Mac and moved back to London.
"As far as Mac knows, that's where she is, and out of the blue, he spots her," Sinise tells TVGuide.com. "He's shocked and surprised by it. She made the choice to end the relationship — it was never something he wanted to do. I think he was a bit stunned by that, and there was never any real closure or resolution. So when he runs into her, there's some unfinished business."

CSI: NY
For CSI: NY's Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), work comes first. So why is his love life getting so much attention lately?
CSI: NY: Madchen Amick to heat up Mac's love life
"For six seasons you didn't get to follow Mac home," Madchen Amick, who plays Mac's latest love interest, Dr. Aubrey Hunter, tells TVGuide.com. "[The writers] really wanted to explore that and give another dimension to Mac. They felt like fans are ready to see Mac outside of work life."
However, Amick says, Mac and Aubrey hit it off because they're so focused on their work. "They have this immediate attraction, and they probably recognize within each other without really knowing that they're both very career-driven," she says. "Mac's always so busy with his cases and never has time in personal relationships that Aubrey ends up being something really refreshing to him."
Aubrey's career? Before becoming...

Claire Forlani and Gary Sinise, CSI: NY
CSI: NY's Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) will have some difficult decisions to make when former flame Peyton Driscoll (Claire Forlani) returns to the Big Apple, executive producer Pam Veasey tells TVGuide.com exclusively.
CSI: NY: Madchen Amick to heat up Mac's love life
As we first teased, Peyton's return comes just as Mac gets cozy in his relationship with Dr. Aubrey Hunter (Madchen Amick). So will Mac stick it out with Aubrey or be tempted by his passionate past with Peyton?
"It's actually like he doesn't have to make the choice; it may be that these two women are trying to make the choice for him," Veasey says. "It's a great place for a character to be in: There's an old love who could return or a new relationship and new possibilities. These are two very smart, talented, attractive women that are in his life."
Peyton will return in a Rear Window-esque episode titled "Point of View" when one of her colleagues from Chelsea University becomes a suspect in a case. Veasey says Peyton does become aware of the other woman in Mac's life...
