Tom Bergeron was faster than the quickstep with his off-the-cuff humor tonight — calling the rowdy audience soccer fans, warning the judges not to tell Drew Lachey he wasn't "in sync," suggesting that Master P start a line of dancing shoes. I was also tickled by the way George Hamilton was orchestrating all these little soap-operatic scenes for the moments just before the commercial. I'm glad some people are taking the competitive edge off things.

The O.C. "Donna Martin graduates! Donna Martin graduates!" That was one of my all-time favorite Beverly Hills, 90210 moments. It was camp at its finest. And just as Tori Spelling gets her own VH1 show, the notorious B.A.G. costars on Freddie, Jason Priestley goes all Love Monkey on us, Luke Perry receives a Windfall and Jennie Garth stars in What I Like About You, it's only right that The O.C. pays homage to an awesomely classic moment in teen TV.

Jennie Garth and Jason Priestly
Aww, there maybe be hope for Brandon and Kelly yet. Jason Priestley and Jennie Garth, who last shared the screen together in Beverly Hills, 90210's May 2000 series finale, are reuniting on Garth's WB sitcom, What I Like About You, in episodes airing Oct. 14 and Oct. 28. Priestley will play a love interest for his sometime leading lady, thus becoming the rival of Dan Cortese (Melrose Place), whose firefighter character weds Garth's Val during a drunken Atlantic City escapade. Both Luke Perry and Ian Ziering have previously guested on WILAY, meaning the guy who played Nat is like, so sitting by the phone.

Question: I just discovered your column and I love it. Maybe you could tell me if Luke Perry will become a regular on What I Like About You after marrying Jennie Garth's Val in the season's finale?
Answer: I had to consult with TV Guide's resident What I Like About You expert Ali Gazan — I was shocked we had one of those, too! — for an answer to this question and, according to her, we never actually saw the two of them swap vows. So, technically speaking, Val could have hitched herself to any number of '90s pinups. And keep in mind that Perry's one of the stars of NBC's lottery soap Windfall, so it's unlikely he'd be available for a second full-time gig. NBC has picked up the drama series Windfall, about a group of 19 friends who share in a $386 million lottery win. The project, originally developed for (but passed on by) Fox, stars Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210), Jason Gedrick (Boomtown), Sarah Wynter (24) and D.J. Cotrona (Skin).
