Frasier refuses to pay an unfair fee at a parking garage. Frasier drives Niles to the mall so he can return a birdcage for his two lovebirds--appropriately named Niles and Daphne. Right after pulling into the parking garage, Frasier realizes the clock is wrong and he's late for his radio show. He immediately turns around and the tenant charges him two dollars, even though he never parked. Frasier refuses to pay the fee and to prove his point, he parks his car next to the attendant booth to get his 20 minutes worth. Behind him, a line of traffic forms, but he remains parked. Frasier calls the station to have Roz stall on the air, while Niles threatens to abort the mission. An irate driver pays Frasier's tab. The gate goes up but Frasier refuses to move. When the angry motorists unite to protest Frasier's stand against getting ripped off by service providers, he second-guesses his decision but cannot succumb to his principles. Niles convinces him it would take a bigger man to leave than to stick out the extra time. Frasier finally gives in and hands the tenant his two dollars. However, the meter displays four dollars because he went over his time. Frasier steps on the gas and speeds off. Frasier arrives at the station to take over for Roz, who has opened up the airwaves to callers. He believes she was discussing his protest and jumps in by giving details of the event. What he doesn't realize is that she inadvertently exposed a fact revealing that she and Frasier had a fling. When Daphne picks up the last of her belongings, Eddie reacts as though he's upset that she is moving out. She realizes how much she will be missed and promises Martin she will visit on a regular basis. watch
