Stage Door Canteen -- A soldier on leave in New York goes to the Stage Door Canteen where they put on a show for servicemen during the War. He meets a pretty hostess and they enjoy the acts together.

Academy Award-winner Judy Garland ("The Wizard of Oz," "Meet Me in St. Louis") stars as an office worker whose chance encounter with soldier Robert Walker ("Strangers on a Train") in New York's Penn Station leads to a 24-hour romance and marriage.
