On Sunday's season finale of True Blood, at least three, possibly four former cast members, previously thought to be dead, or as dead as one can be on this show, returned for an extra-spooky, Halloween-set season finale. Great, you think, just what this show needs, more characters. But wait! This episode also has a steep body count, my friends. At least four series regulars appeared to die during this hour. It's really hoary cliff-hanger stuff that will continue to enrage you for the next 10 months or so until True Blood's fifth season is finally upon us. Who died? Who was resurrected? Let's do this: I'll tell you what happened during this jam-packed hour, and then I'll make some wildly speculative predictions about Season 5. Then you let me know if you agree in the comments section below. Deal?
On Sunday's episode of Desperate Housewives, Susan has trouble with a client. Bree and Keith discover a fundamental sexual incompatibility. Tom invites his mother (guest star Lois Smith) to visit to help Lynette with the baby. And Gaby and Renee discover they have a lot in common, including their love for ruining other people lives, which can mean only one thing: catfight!
I'll post a full recap later, but in the meantime please use this space for your thoughts on "Let Me Entertain You."

On the dusty expanse of suburbia that is Wisteria Lane, Vanessa Williams is ready to duel at 40 paces.
Desperate Housewives has always relied on a fun, trouble-making foil to shake up the staid suburban lives of the women of Wisteria Lane — think Edie, Mrs. Huber, Karl, may they all rest in peace. This season, ABC has employed a Wild West theme to announce the arrival of Renee Perry (Williams), who'll try on a (very chic) black hat. Executive producer Bob Daily introduces us to Renee, and tells us what all the other ladies — and at least one familiar gentleman — will deal with this season.

MICKEY: Finn is all about Rachel in Season 2, according to Lea Michele. "They're very much in love," she tells us, and, brace yourself, kind of into PDA. On the other hand, Jenna Ushkowitz hints at an upcoming romantic tangle for Artie and Tina. "Artie didn't give her what she wanted, so there's a love triangle," she tells us. "She's going to make Artie work for it." Who's the other lucky guy? Two words: Other Asian.
