Cougar Town
Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox may be appearing on the same sitcom again, but they won't be playing friends.
On Wednesday's Cougar Town, Kudrow plays Dr. Amy Evans, the best — and meanest — dermatologist in town. One, er, wrinkle: She's dating Bobby, who used to be married to Jules (Cox).

Lisa Kudrow has a new show, but you'll have to sit through some car ads to see it.Actually, the whole show is kind of a car ad. Kudrow's Web Therapy appears exclusively on L Studio, a new online channel hosted by Lexus. In the show, the Emmy-winning Friends actress plays a psychotherapist who conducts absurdly unhelpful three-minute sessions via the Internet. Her clients will be played by Bob Balaban, Jane Lynch, Rashida Jones, Tim Bagley and Dan Bucatinsky. The site is Lexus' latest attempt to meld ads and entertainment: It previously enlisted well-known authors to write an online novel with special appearances by its cars. One major advertiser has attempted its own network already: Lexus said it is learning from the mistakes of Budweiser's Bud.TV, which initially fumbled after a Super Bowl 2006 kickoff, despite a reported investment of $30 million. Sandy Blanchard, owner experience manager at Lexus' marketing division, who oversees L Studio, told The Hollywood Reporter the channel's ...

Question: I heard on the radio that Lisa Kudrow may also join the Grey's spin-off. Have you heard anything about this?
Answer: Not true. Lisa was up for one of the primary roles — Amy Brenneman's part, perhaps? — but apparently a return to TV prompted this reaction from her: "I don't want to see that!" (Never gets old.)

UPDATE: Time to squash another Veronica Mars rumor that seems to be gaining traction this morning this one claiming the enitire supporting cast has been let go. Not true. No one not Jason Dohring, not Enrico Colantoni has been released from their contract. According to sources, one of three things will happen in May:1) Veronica Mars will be cancelled.2) Veronica Mars will be renewed as-is, with V still in college.3) Veronica Mars will be renewed with Veronica in the FBI. That's where things stand at this hour. I now return you to your originally scheduled Ausiello Report story, already in progress... You know what they say about rumors: Most of 'em are true. Except in this case. Lisa Kudrow is not let me repeat, not joining the cast of Grey's 2.0. As one ABC source flatly puts it, "All of the roles have been cast." And while we're clearing up false rumors, let me set the record straight about all this Veronica Mars fourth-season flash-forward busin...

Yes, this year's Emmy nominations make about as much sense as Desperate Housewives' Betty Applegate mystery. Chris Meloni instead of Hugh Laurie? Allison Janney instead of Edie Falco? Stockard Channing instead of Lauren Graham? Alfre Woodard instead of... anyone? But a funny thing happened after I worked through my anger, frustration and general sense of hopelessness: I took another look at the list and discovered, much to my surprise, that members of the blue-ribbon panel weren't completely stoned when they made their selections. Lost amid all the head-scratchers are some truly worthy nominees. In other words, this year's race is salvageable provided, of course, that the right people win. Who are these "right people" I speak of? They're listed below, followed by my predictions for who will take home the gold on Aug. 27. Feel free to crib the info for your office pool. Not to boast, but history has proven that I'm usually spot-on about this stuff.OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES Grey...
