Lisa Joyner is host of TV Guide Network’s weekly series, INFANITY, the ultimate guide to what’s happening right now on the hottest shows on television. Prior to joining TV Guide Network, Lisa was co-host of the daily series “9 On The Town” on KCAL 9 Los Angeles and was a lifestyle and entertainment features reporter for both KCBS 2 Los Angeles and KCAL 9 Los Angeles. The “Lisa’s It List” segments appeared regularly on both stations. Joyner also hosted specials for the stations, including KCBS 2’s “Survivor” previews, and she has appeared as a guest host of CBS’ “Late Late Show.” She joined CBS 2 in November 2002 and spent two years providing weather and entertainment reports during the station’s morning newscasts.
In 1996, Joyner began her Los Angeles broadcasting career at KTTV-TV. During the next six years, she won an Emmy, a Golden Mike and a Los Angeles Press Club Award. Then there’s the honor of all honors – being named L.A.’s sexiest reporter by Los Angeles magazine.
Joyner began her career as a television personality in the sports department at KNBC-TV Los Angeles. After that, she became a weekend anchor, reporter, producer, Chyron operator, script ripper, and typist at the NBC station in Laredo, Texas, followed by a stint as early morning anchor at the CBS station in Harlingen, Texas.
