Gary (John Asher) craves the attention that being a member of Farber High's basketball team, the Buccaneers, would bring him. Lisa (Vanessa Angel) bewitches Coach Armstrong (Lyman Ward) at the tryouts; he raves at the boys' lame efforts, and Gary and an embarrassed Wyatt (Michael Manasseri) join the team. They both fake injuries to stay out of the first game, but Gary, unable to resist the moment, demands to play and loses the match. Several team members tell the boys to quit or else. When Principal Scampi (Bruce Jarchow) tells them to get off the team, Gary agrees and breaks the news to the coach. Coach Armstrong, still under Lisa's spell, refuses to let them leave and demands they play in the next game - the big one. watch
