Amazing Race All-Stars is ready for some football — the European kind.
On Sunday's semifinal episode (8/7c, CBS), the final four teams head to Liverpool, England, where they have to ...
Jet and Cord's "off" day came at a terrible time on The Amazing Race All-Stars Sunday. After making a series of navigation errors in Seville, Spain, the cowboys missed a clue at the bulls Detour and got U-Turned by Leo and Jamal, who reneged on the Accidental Alliance's plan to U-Turn Brendon and Rachel. Their sliver of hope vanished when they were beaten to the second U-Turn by Caroline and Jen, whom they had directed to the Detour clue earlier. "It was just as disappointing watching it back as it was being there," Jet tells TVGuide.com. "It's always hard to get eliminated and it's like reliving it all over again. It's the second time we got U-Turned and eliminated." Check out what else they have to say about their "poor leg," the Accidental Alliance, if they'll race a fourth time and literally riding off into the sunset.
John and Jessica had an unhappy Roman holiday on Sunday's Amazing Race All-Stars. After leaving the Detour first, the couple had taxi trouble and arrived last to the Roadblock at Rome's Spanish Steps. Fortunately, the Globetrotters and the Afghanimals were still there, and Jamal shared the answer with John and Flight Time, thinking there was still another team behind them. Unfortunately, there wasn't, and because John had to get a new postcard to write down the answer, the Season 22 alums were eliminated. "Yeah, I shouldn't have asked them [to tell us the answer]," Jessica tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "I was a little surprised they did, but at the time none of us thought we were fighting for last."So why did they think Caroline and Jen were behind them? And is this elimination harder to swallow after their infamous Express Pass miscue? See what they say below.
Malaysian rapids wreaked havoc on teams' rafts on The Amazing Race All-Stars Sunday, but it was another form of transportation — or lack thereof — that doomed Joey and Meghan. The YouTube hosts made the mistake of not holding their taxi while they did the Roadblock and were forced to trudge down a highway to ask for help. "We have no idea how long it took, but it was a while," Meghan tells TVGuide.com. "We knew we were last and were leaving unless it was a non-elimination leg."
Nevertheless, the two say they have no regrets about letting their taxi go — because they wanted to get rid of it in the first place. See what else they have to say about their snafu and why they think the Race wanted them out.
Eleven teams are set to take to the starting line again on The Amazing Race All-Stars (Sunday, 8/7c, CBS) — key word being "set."
For the first time, one team will be prohibited from going on the Race. "After a thorough examination, our doctor determined that one team is not capable of going because of a medical concern that we had about one team member," host Phil Keoghan tells TVGuide.com. "The emotion at the start of this Race is unlike any that we've ever had before. I have to break the news to everyone else. It's obviously devastating and affects not only that team and the other teams, who realize that suddenly there's this major change. This is absolutely the most dramatic thing that's ever happened. It's gut-wrenching. It broadsided us."
