VIDEO: Dancing's David Alan Grier Tells Two Judges to "Kiss My A--"

It was a sad night for In Living Color alum David Alan Grier after his Dancing run came to an end Tuesday. TV Guide Network caught up with bummed-out funnyman right after he got the boot and learned Grier had "no love" for the judges' other than Len (whom he merely "respects"). The cast-off had a few fightin' words for Carrie Ann and Bruno (at the 4:50 mark) — and Kym Johnson had the same look Mike Meyers did when Kanye West made that President Bush comment. Plus: Find out what Grier would have done next week. (It involves stripping down and giving the audience the "booty-jiggle").

Viva Las Vegas!

Floyd is still fighting! But for how long? Floyd Mayweather, Karina Smirnoff by Carol Kaelson/ABC

Phew! The ballroom gods came through and sent Wayne Newton packing! Was I too hard on him? Tell me the truth! Wayne — don't feel bad! I'm sure you have a bathroom the size of my townhouse. We're even!So Floyd Mayweather joined Wayne in the bottom two. I'm not shocked, because I think Floyd and Mark Cuban are the only other two who could have been there. It's only a matter of time for them. This is the first time I am comfortable saying that a woman will win this competition. The men don't have it this year, am I right? With the exception of my beloved Helio, of course! Come on guys, prove me wrong! Since it was a rather uneventful exit, here are some other topics that piqued my interest tonight. Let me know what you think! The music selections: I want all the posters to know I read the comments and I am with you on the music selections being heinous! I don't know if the info we got tonight helped calm you down, but at least we saw that even the dancers have issues with it! "The B... read more

Jennie Garth is Tango-licious!

Mel B jives to the top! Melanie Brown, Maksim Chmerkovskiy by Carol Kaelson/ABC

Episode RecapTango! Tango! Tango! And the jive! Without a doubt, Jennie Garth was my pick of the tango dances! You could see the fire and anger in her face, which is what the tango is all about! I was glad to see her strike back after her slip last week! She didn't score the highest, but I think her improvement was the most notable. Way to go, Jennie!Jane Seymour also had a great tango. Loved the wig! Very Bond girl! The death of her mother may have her down, but she is not out. She'll be in the competition for the long haul! Did anyone else think Carrie Ann poured the cheese on a little too thick? It was nice that she was moved by Jane's dance, but I couldn't help but wonder if she was going to break out and cry!So who had a bad tango? Cameron Mathison did! It was not his technique, but I thought they spoofed the tango. How dare they mock the mother of all ballroom dances!? They took the passion out of it and made it quirky, which I did not care for at all. The technique was there,... read more

Preview: Who's the Next Hot-Stepper?

Will Jennie trip the light fantastic? Jennie Garth, Derek Hough by Carol Kaelson/ABC

The way models have been disappearing from this show, you'd think they were stick figures banned from Fashion Week catwalks in Madrid. Alas, though it came as a surprise to everyone last week, middle-of-the-pack clotheshorse Albert Reed joined Josie Maran as one more pretty face that launched another pink slip. So much for Len Goodman's comment about Albert being this season's dark horse, because now he's just a dead one. As for the remaining hoofers, next up the ten couples perform the jive or the tango. — Joe FriedrichCan't get enough of Dancing With the Stars? Lovely Lady Takes a Final Bow!

Back to the runway for Josie Maran? Dancing With the Stars by Adam Larkey

Episode Recap: "Eviction 1" So Josie Maran was the night's ballroom roadkill. Was anyone really surprised? Didn't think so! Sorry Josie, I'm just being honest. Very classy of Alec to ask the viewers to vote for his new wife Edyta and Cameron Mathison, though. I was not happy about Mark Cuban being in the bottom two! And who voted for Wayne Newton? Please shout if you're out there, because I don't get it. On a lighter note, Dolly Parton sang "9 to 5"! (And some new song I had no interest in.) Question: Does anyone know when she started straightening her hair? I loved the Dolly with the gigantic mane of curls. It just wasn't the same!I thought Kenny Mayne's bit was really funny! How about those old photos of Len Goodman? He looked the same only with more hair! So, the first week is over! Was it all you thought it would be? Who got your vote this week? My eyes are already on next week and the next victim. Start making your predictions now, because it will be here before you know it.For... read more

Backstage at Dancing with the Stars: Len Judges the Remaining Three Couples

Ian Ziering and Cheryl Burke, Dancing with the Stars

We started with 11 couples. Now there are three. And the head judge is jazzed about the finals. "It's going to be magic," Len Goodman said immediately after Tuesday night's results show, which sent Ian Ziering packing. Ziering gave the competition everything he had and wanted to stay in the worst way. But, says Ziering, "It really wasn't so unexpected. There are better dancers out there." Goodman agrees. It may have been a tight, four-way race to the finish, but Goodman thinks the right three couples made it into the finals. "As much as I loved Ian's performances last night, I think it was justified that he was the one sent home as the weakest dancer. If he had been in Season 1, 2 or 3, he would've been in the finals. But he's come up against three incredible couples." Goodman has presided over four seasons of read more

Backstage at Dancing with the Stars: Was Len Too Harsh?

Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman

If you thought head judge Len Goodman's tongue-lashing of the celebrity dancers tonight was scripted, think again. When he told them that they weren't rehearsing long or hard enough, it was his own opinion, something that had been building up in his mind since the performances last week. And it came from a place of genuine disappointment and frustration. "I just had a bad feeling," said Goodman right after the show. "So I looked at the DVD of last season, the fourth week. And then I looked at the DVD of this group three weeks in. And there was no comparison. There was no Emmitt Smith. There was no Joey Lawrence. No Mario Lopez. And I couldn't [figure] out why — because these people all hav read more

Dancing Judges' Pasts Revealed

How many hit shows star an acerbic Brit, a Hollywood choreographer and a guy you've never heard of before? Well, now there are two. ABC's Dancing with the Stars, which turns celebrities into ballroom dancers within weeks, has become a summer sensation. Here we look at the judges who will help decide which couple will walk off with the winners' trophy.

Len Goodman, 61, took up ballroom dancing when he was 20 years old after a soccer injury. "My doctor suggested it because it would exercise my foot," says Goodman, who comes from London. He soon became a top competitive dancer and owner of a successful dance school, but he became a star as a judge on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, on which Dancing with the Stars is based.

Who had the steepest learning curve on the U.S. version? "Definitely Evander Holyfield. John O'Hurley is from a period where men did some sort of dancing. Ladies are always quicker at picking up the steps."
