Doomsday Machine -- The year is 1975. A spaceship is launched from the Earth on a mission to Venus. As it streaks through space, its passengers are horrified to learn that Earth has been destroyed by a nuclear holocaust (they witness it on their telescreen).

Strange things start to happen when a crew of archeologists, including British Capt. Storm (Mark Dana), Sgt. Smolett (Terrence De Marney), Sgt. Gromley (Richard Peel) and Sylvia Quentin (Diane Brewster), travel to Egypt and excavate an area containing a mysterious tomb. Once a mummy's sarcophagus is opened, death becomes rampant -- and all along, a wandering local named Simira (Ziva Rodann) warned of this.
