Breaking news! Lauren Conrad expressed some real emotions as she said goodbye to The Hills.
"It was a bittersweet night for me," she said in a June 2 post on her MySpace blog. "A part of me is sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a prominent part of my life, but I know that it was time and I am very happy with my decision."
Conrad thanked her fans for their encouragement. "While putting my personal relationships and struggles on television wasn't always easy, the support I received from people made such a difference," she said.

Out promoting her upcoming voice gig for Family Guy, Lauren was asked if she would be attending the rumored Speidi wedding. The Hills headliner giggled as she told reporters, "Probably not" — although she did note, "Yes, I was invited."

The bad economy has claimed its latest victim: Lauren Conrad.
The Hills star and budding clothing designer is temporarily putting her clothing line on hold, according to Us. Her rep insists, however, that Conrad's duds will be back in stores eventually.
"She is taking a hiatus, but the line still exists and will continue," her rep told Us. "The sales of her line in the first year doubled what was projected. However, in light of the economy, it's a good time for Lauren to take a few seasons off to re-work her still-budding line. She will look over the past seasons to determine what worked and what didn't work so that she may design clothing that will appeal to her fans."
