Get ready to relive a nightmare! Longtime fan fave Lauralee Bell is heading back to CBS's The Young and the Restless for a series of episodes starting November 9 that'll be packed with juicy flashbacks — circa 2001-03 — featuring Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.
Just before Longoria hit Wisteria Lane, she played Genoa City nutjob Isabella Braña, a former prostie who clashed with Bell's character, Christine, and made her life a living hell. Isabella not only got pregnant by Christine's husband, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), but later faked...

Family Dinner
You can't stop the Bells! Actress-writer-director Lauralee Bell — aka Cricket on The Young and the Restless — launches the fifth installment of her wackadoo web series Family Dinner November 15 (funnyordie.com and familydinneronline.com). Previous episodes wowed us with guest stints by Phyllis Diller and Cloris Leachman. This time, Bell goes nuts with a massive cast including American Idol champ Jordin Sparks, suds-rock icon Rick Springfield, drummer Chad Smith of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Oscar winner Shirley Jones. The last will play a musical therapist named Dr. Jones who comes to dinner intent on healing the screwed-up O'Connell clan, led by Bell's Oprah-obsessed matriarch.

Lauralee Bell and Shemar Moore, Young and the Restless
It's often said that Lifetime is television for women and gay men. Since gay men also love soaps, I must say it's a fabulous move to cast Young and the Restless star Lauralee Bell in Past Sins, a Lifetime movie scheduled to air June 5. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Bell plays Donna Erickson, a press-hungry lawyer defending a murder suspect who may've been framed.
This role should be a cakewalk for the actress, who has done lotsa legal drama as attorney Christine "Cricket" Blair on
Y&R. By the way, although Christine has been back-burnered in Genoa City lately, she remains on recurring status with the CBS sudser, which was created in 1973 by her esteemed parents,
Lee Phillip Bell and the late
William J. Bell.
