Spoiler Alert: This story contains major spoilers from Tuesday's V season finale. So if you've yet to watch, don't read!
Wow! Did you watch V's go-for-broke season finale last night? Series star Morena Baccarin didn't. Only because she's visiting her home in Brazil (where V's not shown), while awaiting word on whether or not ABC will renew her struggling series for a third season. The concluding episode of Season 2....

You thought your family had issues? You gotta feel for poor lizard princess Lisa (Laura Vandervoort), caught in the middle of a vicious power struggle between her sinister grandmother Diana (Jane Badler) and her cold, unfeeling mom, Anna (Morena Baccarin). In tonight's Season 2 finale, "Mother's Day," Diana and Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell) enlist Lisa to stage a coup against Anna, removing her from power before humanity is destroyed. "Lisa's never felt emotion or warmth from her mother," says Vandervoort. "So for her to be comforted by Erica has hit ...

"V" is for "vamping" — that's been the case for most of the life of ABC's re-imagined, if hardly re-energized, version of V. You know, the show where alien ships hover over Earth week after week, with nothing much happening as Evil Queen Anna coldly plots the destruction of humanity with all those pesky emotional souls while ...

The 40-year-old Lost alum dishes on the season ender, which includes a faux kidnapping and an appearance by an original V freedom fighter. Perhaps more importantly, Mitchell also addresses the potential for a third-season renewal and discusses whether or not fans will be satisfied with what the show delivers should it not return.
Erica has been turning very dark and ruthless this season. How much is that going to get her in trouble in the season finale?
Elizabeth Mitchell: Quite a lot. It's going to come back to...

Leapin' lizards! V's March 15 season finale will kill off up to one-third of its cast! With only central characters Anna (Morena Baccarin) and Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell) safe, executive producer Scott Rosenbaum says two or "possibly even three" of the following actors have been let go: Scott Wolf (Chad), Logan Huffman (Tyler), Morris Chestnut (Ryan), Joel Gretsch (Father Jack), Laura Vandervoort (Lisa) and Jane Badler (Diana). Hoping the bold move will get him a third-season renewal from ABC, Rosenbaum says he chose his victims based on "what would be most devastating for the characters I want to continue."

Anna and her amphibious minions returned on V last night and wow, did those scaly freaks launch Season 2 in fittingly cold-blooded fashion. There were crazy acid-rain nightmares. A hybrid baby that looked like a floating Yoda. A V skeleton. Oh, and there was a death that has got to beat The Bachelor's "bat wing" body-waxing conversation for grossest moment of the week. In other words, while it wasn't exactly bliss, the season premiere was pretty great.
More so, it was a lot of what we spent last year waiting for and never got...

When ABC's V returns, the alien invasion series will welcome a very familiar face.
Jane Badler, who starred in the original 1983 miniseries, returns to the world as Diana, the mother of the ruthless leader of the Visitors, Anna (Morena Baccarin). While her character's name is the same, the new Diana is nothing like the Diana of before. (Makes sense: The series is a reboot, not a continuation of the original miniseries.)
In the original, Diana was the sadistic deputy leader of the Visitors who pioneered the mind control experiments on humans. Like the remake's Anna, Diana was not someone to be messed with.
But Diana 2.0 is different in significant ways, Badler says. She's a lot more...

After a year and a half hiatus, the New York Comic Con returned this weekend, drawing a reported crowd of 100,000 to the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan. The event doesn't quite have the star power of San Diego's Comic-Con International, but it's quickly becoming one of the top fan events for sci-fi related movies and TV as well as video games and, of course, comic books.
One of the weekend's biggest draws was a panel for...
