Laura San Giacomo, Saving Grace
As Holly Hunter's churchgoing confidante on the gritty-yet-spiritual Saving Grace (Mondays at 10 pm/ET), Laura San Giacomo gives notice that TNT's uncompromising new drama is no one-woman show. We spoke with the former Just Shoot Me star, who reflected on her career, working with Hunter and matters of faith.
TVGuide.com: Do you believe in angels? Do you believe in God?Laura San Giacomo: [Laughs] Well, it's certainly something I've had to examine over the last couple of months. "So Keith is really hoping he finds evidence that he's cheating." Rob — who would only say Laura appears in "several" episodes — admits her connection to Enrico played a big part in her casting. "I don't think she would have done

Am I wrong? I read a bad review of the pilot, but this critic didn't seem to like anything worth watching on television. Do you have an opinion on the show? Is it worth trying out?
Answer: The reason you haven't heard much about Related yet is there isn't much to tell. To my knowledge, critics haven't been able to screen a complete episode yet. What you read may have been a critical reaction to the presentation at upfronts or to the general concept. But I'm going to reserve judgment on this one until it gets several weeks into the run, because Friends cocreator Marta Kauffman joined the show post-pilot,
