The Playboy Club alum Laura Benanti has been cast as Detective Nick Amaro's wife on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Benanti joins the show when her character returns from overseas and she and Amaro (Danny Pino) must figure out where their relationship stands.

Lifetime has ordered an 18-episode run of Gay, Straight or Taken?, a dating show from the eerily omnipresent Endemol USA (Deal or No Deal, Show Me the Money). The premise, per Variety: A woman goes on a date with three men (see title), and then has to pick out the single, straight dude. If she's wrong, the guy she incorrectly chose wins the grand prize instead....
